About Special Hockey

Special hockey programs have been established in more than 40 cities in the United States and many more internationally. The goal of special hockey is to give people with physical and developmental disabilities the chance to play the sport of ice hockey in an environment which is adapted to the ability level of each athlete. For more info visit the American Special Hockey Association (ASHA) and Special Hockey International (SHI) websites.
